I am interested in saving our laundry water and having it go to the yard this summer, to water the grass and plants.
I would also LOVE to be able to re-use the water from a load of laundry for another wash, at other times (during the winter). My mother had a washing machine that did this when we were growing up. It had a setting, and she just pumped the water back in from the laundry tub for another load- great way to save water.
Is this possible now? They don’t seem to make machines that do this anymore. I would love to adapt our machine to be able to do this.
Do you do this work? How much would it cost?
