Hi there, So we moved into an old bungalow, 60+ years old. The home inspector had suggested getting pipes video-scoped to ensure they are clear.
Now that we’ve been in for a few months there are a few more issues we’ve also noted:
1) most important is that the main water shut-off valve has a very slow leak and probably needs replacement
2) I can’t tell if it’s a lead service line, but based on the age of the house I’m figuring it is
3) the water shutoff valve to the back exterior faucet leaks
4) the downstairs bathroom (where the leaky main water valve is) sometime smells sewer’ish. Not sure if there’s something backing up?
Probably why the home inspector suggesting video of the pipes.
